Joseph is well-known for introducing Sony to the United States market in the late 1950s and had co-founded Sony/Superscope in 1954. His mother, Rebecca, was A Filipino actress typecasted as a glamorous contravida or villain in Sampaguita Pictures who was the first Filipino to be awarded Asia’s Best Actress.
Robert attended California Lutheran University where he concentrated his studies in, Business Administration and Marketing. Throughout Robert’s career of 40 plus years, he has been associated with several companies, including his father’s Sony/Superscope. He has been involved with several startups in tech, alternative energy, medical equipment, and publication and also worked for Dell, Inc. and World Wide Technology, Inc.
