This is probably what I might try:
- Become a reporter. You’re delving into a documented reality that instead of making our skin look better, these products we’ve been using for so long are leading to XYZ bad results. Then The Golden Secrets is brought in as someone working to solve it. But does not solve it completely. They are not “the” answer.
So, my article might look like this:
- Take the person out of the title. Make it better than this, but something like it: The Golden Secrets: Working to Improve Damaged Skin with Natural Products (or whatever)
- First paragraph:
- Generally introduce a documented reality (link to one or two reputable articles) that instead of making our skin look younger, today’s products are actually doing bad things. Be very careful here. You can’t name a company. You also probably can’t name a specific ingredient because if you do and a company see it and they use that ingredient, they could get mad and do a terrible thing, whatever that thing is.
- Last sentence, something like this: The Golden Secrets, founded by its CEO, Jesse Golden, is working to educate people on how natural products have the potential to improve their skin.
- Potential is important. It’s never guaranteed.
- Then you have a section that goes more into natural products, but nothing offered by The Golden Secret.
- This is tricky. It can sound promotional if you let it.
- Very tough.
- The key to making it work – if it does – could be to throw away Golden Secrets for the moment and envision yourself as just researching what natural products HAVE THE POTENTIAL to do.
- Point to an article that shows this and paraphrase it without any reference at all to GS.
- Then you bring in GS.
- Now, what you will probably do is never reference any of their products.
- Let the above draw the reader’s interest.
- Cool that science has shown that natural products can do this. I’ll keep reading this.
- This next part is about what GS is doing to educate people about what natural products can do.
- It is NOT their products. You never talk about GS offering this or that. That would be promotional.
- Instead, you talk about this. This is what they do to educate people, and you can link to these sections.
- They have a blog. From looking at it, some of it is promotional, so look for blogs that don’t talk about their products but about the POSSIBLE benefits of natural products during a woman’s pregnancy, or whatever I saw there.
- They have a podcast. The podcast is not about their products but about natural skincare, etc.
- They also have a FAQ page that goes more into skin issues, but be very careful to not talk about products here.
- Then you have an about GS paragraph. Try not to get into the products. You can talk about Jesse Golden, etc.
- Last paragraph: wrap it up. It’s about education, not the products, and the POSSIBLE impact of GS’ education on the issue. No promises.
